Advantages of the Cotek AE-1500 series include an extremely compact design with integrated fans, a wide input voltage range of 90-264 VAC and 127-370 VDC, and variants available in 12 V, 15 V, 24 V, 30 V, 36 V, 48 V, and 60 V. The current limitation feature allows the output voltage to be adjustable in a range of 0% to 105%, as well as the output current. Control options include simple control via a potentiometer (with the additional EasyAdjust3000 board) or control voltage, and communication/control via I²C (communication protocol available upon request) or RS232/RS485 (using additional boards from the CT series). Single devices can be controlled using the additional CT-201 (RS232) or CT-551 (RS485) boards. Parallel operation allows control of up to 8 devices using the additional CT-251 for master control, along with one CT-551 for each slave. Series operation is possible up to a maximum of 500 VDC, controlling up to 8 devices via the additional CT-204 board. The device allows for monitoring and reading of set and actual values, including voltage, current, and temperature, as well as status flags. It features selectable auxiliary voltage options of +5V / 0.5A or +9V / 0.3A, a power OK signal, remote On/Off, and remote sense. Protection features include over voltage protection (OVP), over load protection (OLP), over temperature protection (OTP), and fan failure. Applications include charging, motors, laser technology, water treatment, industrial heating furnaces, and other scenarios where variable voltages and currents are required.
