Discovery Crafts DGL 50 is a binocular magnifier with flip-up lenses: you can remove only one or both lenses at a time. This is convenient when you want to view an object alternately with and without magnification. The magnifier has a short focal length and offers high magnification, so its main purpose is to perform precise operations. This can be modelling, soldering, repairing mechanisms, assessing surface defects, assessing jewellery, etc.Interchangeable lenses are supplied in pairs - 4 sets of 2 lenses each. The lens material is polymer optical glass with high transparency. This is a very durable material that is no less effective in quality than standard glass and can even surpass its resistance to damage. The lenses are attached to the frame of the glasses; the temples can be replaced by a textile headband if necessary.There are LEDs next to the lenses. The angle of illumination is adjustable, resulting in precise and comfortable illumination of the working area. Batteries must be inserted for the illumination.
