RCBOs combine residual current and circuit breakers in a single device (RCCB/MCB combination). They protect people from fault currents and installations from short circuits and overloads. The DRCBO 4 has a rated breaking capacity of 6 kA. In addition to a tripped indicator, it also features a labeling window. Type A switches are sensitive to pulsating and alternating currents. This function is independent of the mains voltage. Switches with a tripping characteristic of B provide standard protection for lighting and socket circuits. Standard switches are designed for circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz.
