The KF 1616 G cable junction box is made of high-quality thermoplastic and is suitable for unprotected outdoor installation or surface-mounted applications in buildings. It is resistant to weather influences such as UV exposure from sunlight, protected against rainwater, temperature-resistant, and impact-resistant. The cover is secured with quick-release fasteners, and there are external tabs for mounting. The box is seawater-resistant and approved for offshore applications, including installation on ships. The terminal has 2 connection points per pole up to 10 mm² and is 5-pole. Cable entry is provided through metric pre-formed entries in the housing walls and the base. Mounting cable connectors are available as accessories.
