Product details

Irwin Record brings decades of experience and proven design to this fine range of woodworking tools. Smoothing planes are the most commonly purchased planes, used for finishing and ideal for general work. Jack planes are used for the initial leveling of rough wood and are the workhorses for material removal. Fore planes or jointer planes are used to remove roughness and unevenness on long surfaces before smoothing.
