Pattex Hotmelt Sticks – The universal hot glue sticks for crafting, decorating, or repairing

The perfect hot glue for crafting, repairing, or DIY projects: With the silicone-free Pattex Hotmelt Sticks, dried adhesive joints can be loaded after just 2 minutes. Due to the glue's high transparency, it is ideal for discreet bonding. This hot glue can be used on a variety of materials, including wood, cardboard, metal, stone, or plastics. The hot glue sticks, with a diameter of 11 mm, can be used not only in Pattex hot glue guns but also in all other suitable hot glue guns.

Application:

1. Almost all absorbent and non-absorbent materials are suitable as substrates. The surface must be dry, clean, and grease-free.

2. Apply the adhesive on one side and immediately press the parts together firmly. The higher the temperature of the adhesive during assembly, the stronger the bond will be. Excess adhesive can be cut away with a sharp, preheated knife.

Not suitable for soft PVC, PE, PP, PTFE, etc. Do not apply hot glue directly to Styrofoam, as it may melt.

Instructions for use
Substrate preparation: Almost all absorbent and non-absorbent materials are suitable as substrates, except PE, PP, PTFE, etc. The substrates must be solid, clean and free of release agents. Remove release agents with a suitable solvent, e.g. alcohol, or sand the surface. A prerequisite for the adhesive to set is the absorption of small amounts of moisture (from the air or from one of the materials to be bonded). Always check coatings for adhesion and remove if necessary. Opening: Cover the working area to protect it. When opening for the first time, screw the complete cap clockwise onto Control and pierce the protective membrane of the tube. A clacking sound can be clearly heard. Application: Unscrew the top cap and press the ribbed buttons gently to dispense. The thinner the adhesive film, the faster and stronger the bond. Join the parts immediately and press together for approx. 10 - 80 seconds (depending on the material). Correction is possible in the first 10 seconds. Cleaning: To optimise the durability of the adhesive, excess adhesive should be removed from the tip of the tube and only then should the cap be screwed on. Soak up liquid adhesive with cellulose. Hardened residues can only be removed mechanically.
