Mechanical durometer for measuring the hardness of soft elastomers, featuring a pointer for better readability of the peak value. The durometer is used to measure the surface hardness (Shore A) of soft rubber and very soft plastics. It consists of a measuring part with a measuring head and a glare-free 360° clock. For improved readability of the peak value, this hardness tester has a drag pointer in addition to the standard measuring needle, which remains at the maximum value after the measurement is completed.
