Nitrile rubber (NBR) is not suitable for use with esters, ozone, ketones, aldehydes, chlorinated and nitro hydrocarbons. These metric nitrile rubber O-rings are made of nitrile, which is the most widely used elastomer in the sealing industry. They have excellent resistance to petroleum products and perform well at both low and high temperatures. Nitrile is particularly resistant to abrasion and is an ideal choice for most industries.
