The marking and alignment template was specially developed for the fast, error-free installation of electrical installation boxes and the corresponding inserts in drywall construction. It can also be used in masonry as an option.
The template has edge dimensions of 71 mm and corresponding markings and makes it possible to transfer the correct distances between two installation boxes for initial or extension installations. There is also a corresponding edge dimension for the required distance of 91 mm between sockets and TV or network sockets.
You can use the spirit level to reliably align the template so that you can mark drilling positions precisely. The template also supports you when aligning the installation sockets and inserts later on, so that exact positioning is guaranteed.
To facilitate controlled alignment and convenient screwing of the cavity wall box in the drilled hole, the clever helper is equipped with two hole holders. You insert the screw heads of the cavity wall boxes into these and thus ensure a temporary connection - align, screw and you're done.
Once the cavity wall box has been attached, the insertable metal stop is used. In combination with the magnetic back of the template, you can easily align metal socket or switch inserts correctly and then screw them in place. The template also offers solutions for country-specific differences in the standardised design of the socket outlet inserts.
