The robust cable junction boxes of the X series are designed to bring together electrical lines. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The entry openings are pre-shaped for easy cable insertion. When used in unprotected outdoor areas, the cable junction box must be protected from direct weather influences (e.g., snow, wind, rain, or sun). The cable junction box is tested according to DIN EN 60670-1, VDE 0606-1:2014, and DIN EN 60670-22, VDE 0606-22:2007. It meets the requirements of the protection class test according to IP 67 as per DIN EN 60529, VDE 0470-1:2014. Additionally, a 5-pole main line junction terminal with 20 connection points is included, for X16 H25 GNP5 LGR: 25 mm² conductor cross-section and X16 H35 GNP5 LGR: 35 mm² conductor cross-section.

Fully assembled connection unit made of high-temperature resistant special ceramic and marked protective conductor terminal. Supplied with 2 fire protection screw anchors MMS 6x50 for screwless mounting on the outer tabs. The nominal cross-section of the power cables is max. 6 mm². The conductor diameter of the data cables is 0.8 mm. In case of multiple connections, a maximum of 3 solid copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² can be connected per terminal point. The cable junction box has an impact resistance class of IK08. 5. OBO Bettermann Junction box
The T-series junction boxes are all UV-resistant. They are made of a thermoplastic material, polypropylene, with insert seals made of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). This allows cables to be installed through the 7x M25 + 5x M32 seals, or the seals can be cut with a knife at the designated points to create an entry opening for cables or pipes. Alternatively, cable glands can be inserted through the openings instead of the seals and secured from the inside with a counter nut. The junction boxes can be mounted on mounting plates using 3.5 x 9.5 sheet metal screws in openings at the bottom. Internal dimensions: 176 x 135 x 67 mm. Lid with labeling field and sealable.
