Application
The safety group is required to ensure the operation of pressure-resistant, closed wall-mounted storage tanks. It prevents exceeding the permissible operating pressure in the hot water storage tank as well as the return of heated drinking water into the piping system. Expansion water is discharged into the drainage line.

Equipment
The delivery scope of the safety group includes: safety valve, shut-off valve, backflow preventer, funnel siphon, rosette, and chrome-plated connection accessories.

Installation
The safety group is installed according to specifications before the hot water storage tank in the cold water supply line. It facilitates maintenance work by allowing the system to be vented via a rotary handle on the safety valve. Additionally, the cold water supply line can be closed for subsequent installations (e.g., hot water storage tank) using a shut-off valve. The individual components are interchangeable.

Safety
The safety group consists of a highly polished, chrome-plated brass housing, is low-lead manufactured, and DVGW certified. The safety valve is component tested. The connection pipes are made of chrome-plated copper. All plastic parts comply with the KTW recommendation.

The safety group is suitable for use with pressure-resistant electric and integral storage tanks. The scope of delivery includes a shut-off valve, a non-return valve with testing device, a manometer connection, a membrane safety valve, and a discharge funnel. To prevent backflow of discharge water, a pipe break is integrated into the discharge funnel of the safety valve. The safety valve can be adjusted to different installation conditions thanks to its screw connection, as it can be rotated, repositioned, and replaced. The safety group can be installed in both corner and straight configurations in horizontal and vertical pipelines. In vertical pipelines, the safety group must only be installed in the flow direction from bottom to top. A pressure reducing valve can be retrofitted if necessary.

Application: The safety group is designed for use with pressure-resistant, closed above-counter small storage tanks.

Equipment: The delivery includes a shut-off valve, a backflow preventer, and a replaceable membrane safety valve. The pressure relief safety valve prevents exceeding the permissible operating pressure of the hot water storage tank. The backflow preventer stops the return flow of heated drinking water into the piping system. The included funnel siphon with rosette and connection accessories ensures that expansion water is drained into the wastewater line.

Installation: The safety group is installed before the hot water storage tank in the cold water supply line (please refer to specifications). To facilitate maintenance, the safety valve can be vented via a rotary handle.
