As a tile artist in Azul, you are challenged to decorate the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora. The azulejos, originally white and blue ceramic tiles, were introduced by the Moors and fully adopted by the Portuguese when their King Manuel I was captivated by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles during a visit to the Alhambra Palace in southern Spain. Deeply impressed by the inner beauty of the Alhambra, the king immediately ordered that his own castle in Portugal be adorned with similar wall tiles.
