Due to increased security regulations at airports, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials must open bags without the travelers' knowledge before they board. Conventional locks are often destroyed in the process, rendering them unusable for the remainder of the trip. The Pacsafe TSA locks can be opened and closed by TSA (US) and HRSC (UK) officials using special codes, without damaging the lock.
