Test Report

11 Digital pianos 11/2021

Good digital pianos realistically reproduce the sound of a real grand piano. Seven of the eleven electric pianos tested can do this. Among them are also two hybrid pianos. Digital pianos have no strings, but produce the sound digitally. For this purpose, they usually use recordings of real instruments, so-called samples. Depending on how fast and deeply a key is pressed, the instrument plays different samples.
