Dreame poised to take smart fridges and climbing robot vacuums to Europe

Dreame has already hit the big time in the robot vacuum cleaner and lawn mower sector. Now, the brand’s set to launch countless other household appliances for the European market.

Dreame invited me to Paris for a large-scale product launch event, pulling out all the stops to showcase the devices that’ll be hitting the shelves this year. On a trip to China back in February, I got a feel for just how omnipresent the brand is in its home country. I’ve since found out which products the company’s planning to introduce to Europe.

X60 Pro Series: a vacuum for those hard-to-reach areas

My fellow Galaxus editor, Lorenz, has already written about Dreame’s three latest robot vacuum cleaners, the X60 Pro series. The new vacuums (the X60 Pro Ultra Complete, Matrix and Matrix Vision) feature major improvements that allow them to reach into corners and clean around chairs more effectively. It certainly looks like they do a pretty good job of this:

The three robots in the X60 series have also been given quite a souped-up coworker, the Cyber X. Fitted with four arms and a caterpillar track, it’s able to pick up the X60 series robots and carry them up stairs.

Whether it’s 30-centimetre-high steps, curves or L-shaped staircases, the Cyber X is pretty adept at handling obstacles. Covering 0.2 metres per second, it takes its sweet time – but it does clean stairs as it’s navigating its way down them. To achieve this, it has a cleaning module at the rear sporting two side brushes and up to 6,000 pascals of suction power. Here’s how it looks in action:

During the demo, the Cyber X only brushes the area directly beneath it as it climbs the stairs. It doesn’t cover the entire width of the step.

The device can scan and map up to four floors, removing the need to either carry the vacuum upstairs yourself or buy multiple robots. On the flipside, the Cyber X costs twice as much as a standard robot vacuum. Plus, it’s only compatible with the new X60 Pro series – and future models.

Here are the prices and availability information for products in the series:

  • X60 Pro Ultra Complete: available from 5 June for 1,279 francs or 1,499 euros
  • X60 Pro Ultra Matrix: available from 26 August for 1,449 francs or 1,699 euros
  • X60 Pro Ultra Matrix Vision: available from 26 August for 1,539 francs or 1,799 euros
  • Cyber X: to be released soon, for 1,019 francs or 1,199 euros

The T-Series: wet vacuuming at temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius

The T-Series label comprises Dreame’s latest wet- and dry vacuums. At just 9.9 centimetres thick, these vacuums are much more likely to be able to clean under your couch or bed than their predecessors. Fitted with a dual-cutting system, they also stop long hair from getting tangled in the rotating brush.

When cleaning, the T16 series uses water heated to 95 degrees. It also boasts a suction power of 30,000 pascals (though the two cheaper models, the T14 Pro and T12 Pro, achieve 25,000 pascals). As I saw for myself at Dreame’s showcase, even sticky and wet messes are no match for these vacuum cleaners.

When it comes to an edge or a corner, an additional robot arm pops out of the device automatically. The battery lasts up to 70 minutes. Plus, it’s replaceable. The T16 Pro (steam and heat) comes with six 5000-mAh batteries, while the other models come with six 4000-mAh batteries.

The T16 Pro Steam also features 200-degree steam sterilisation and a self-cleaning system.

The T12 Pro is the standard model, while the T14 Pro comes with a dirt sensor in addition. This reduces its runtime by 10 minutes.

Here’s the availability and price information for the wet vacuums:

  • T12 Pro: available from 26 May for 269 francs
  • T14 Pro: available from mid-August for 339 francs
  • T15 Pro Heat: available from mid-August for 429 francs
  • T16 Pro Heat: available from 22 June for 539 francs
  • T16 Pro Steam: available from mid-August for 559 francs

Fizz Fresh: a fridge with a built-in water dispenser

Besides showcasing the usual suspects, Dreame used the event to demonstrate that it can make more than just vacuum cleaners. Its Fizz Fresh fridge not only keeps food cool, but also dispenses drinks at the touch of a button. With its built-in carbonator, it gives you a choice of three fizziness levels and chilled water.

The fridge can also make ice cubes and crushed ice – up to 2.5 kilogrammes per day, in fact. In addition, the refrigerator boasts functions for clean air, keeping veg fresh for longer and remote control via Wi-Fi.

The 524-litre model will be available from June 2026 for 1,499 francs or 1,699 euros.

Smart laundry

For clean clothes, there’s the Dreame AI Inverter Washer L9. It automatically identifies the laundry load weight and condition of the fabrics, then sets a cleaning programme to suit those characteristics. According to Dreame, this AI-powered, automated wash cycle selection conserves resources.

During the cycle, the machine pumps the detergent from the bottom of the drum and sprays it evenly over the laundry, supposedly busting stains more effectively. You can even have the machine measure out your detergent and fabric softener for you. Sounds remarkably straightforward – provided the L9 lives up to Dreame’s promises.

If you could just wash my clothes without me having to engage my brain, that’d be swell. Thanks.

The Dreame AI Twin Inverter Dryer L9 dries your clothes once they’re clean. Its quick cycle can dry laundry in 30 minutes. Not only that, but thanks to the machine’s built-in heat pump technology, it dries fabrics at the lowest possible temperature in order to protect them.

The Dreame AI Inverter Washer L9 will set you back 799 francs or 899 euros, while the Dreame AI Twin Inverter Dryer L9 comes in at 949 francs or 1,099 euros. Both are already available.
