It's a bit worrying when you associate edibles with racism. If I eat a moor's head, I certainly don't think about ethnicity or skin colour. No, that has nothing to do with adaptation. Certain things remain as they are, and boycotting them makes just as little sense. You're just shooting yourself in the foot. It is rather alarming that there is a generation that grew up with the word Mohrenkopf and NEGERkuss (you can write out the word if you want to be a racist) and was taught that it was perfectly okay - and now they are refusing to accept it when today's society no longer finds the term adequate.
