Hello :D Is there any plan to add Colorful iGame graphics cards to the product range? I am considering a Fractal Terra build with an AIO CPU cooler, but then the GPU can only be 20cm long. With the 5060ti 16gb mini from Colorful iGame, this would be feasible.

Hello Is it worth paying extra for an RTX 5080, or would an RTX 5070 Ti actually be enough? I’m looking to build a system with an AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3. When is it worth going for the more expensive graphics card? Thanks.

Does anyone have experience with a power supply that has 2x 6+2 pin graphics card power connectors on the same cable... (regarding burning out and such..)?

3

Graphics cards are listed using a ‘storage space’ filter. However, graphics cards do not have storage space. They have RAM, which is random access memory, not storage. As a reminder, a computer has three essential components: processing power, memory (to process calculations) and storage (to keep calculations for later use)

Dear Digitec Team and Community: What do you think? When will the card be available and at what price? And what do you think - a legitimate RX9700xtx gaming alternative or just an expensive professional tool for AI tinkering? I wonder if there is already the possibility to set up a placeholder for a watch list? Then you can order it directly from availability :)

Hello, Unless I'm mistaken, you should know that GRE type cards have at least the following modifications according to AMD. 9070 GRE 12GB RAM core config 3072:192:96:48:96 48 CU texture/pixel 422.4 / 211.2 TFLOPS single 27.03 AI TOPS INT8 216 Memory Bandwidth (GB/s) 432 Memory Bus type & width GDDR6 192-bit 9070 16GB RAM core config 3584:224:128:56:112 56 CU texture/pixel 463.6 / 265 TFLOPS single 29.67 AI TOPS INT8 237 Memory Bandwidth (GB/s) 640 Memory Bus type & width GDDR6 256-bit 9070 XT 16GB RAM core config 4096:256:128:64:128 64 CU texture/pixel 614.4 / 307.2 TFLOPS single 39.32 AI TOPS INT8 314 Memory Bandwidth (GB/s) 640 Memory Bus type & width GDDR6 256-bit GRE type cards are often restricted products, unlike other cards. Here you go. PS With the new discussion restrictions, I have installed several 9070 cards.

Thanks to its 32GB, the B70 Pro from Intel will be of interest to some people who are interested in AI/LLMs. Are there any plans to include the card in the range, or will I end up having to order it in the EU?

Will the card be available in the Digitec range in the foreseeable future?

is there a reason why the cheapest Gigabyte 5090 at Digitec costs 1000 CHF more than the cheapest 5090 GPU at Alternate???? O_o

3

I wish they would do a windforce v2 (like the 4090), that card is super sexy

Has anyone really paid over 3000 for a 5090 from Gigabyte?

I'm not sure what to buy as the dual is 100fr. cheaper than the Prime.

3

Hello dear Community Which would you rather buy, a used 4090 or a new 5080? In terms of price, the 4090 would be 150-200 more expensive, but in terms of performance, the 4090 would still be the better choice, wouldn't it? Thanks for your help!

Hello Digitec Team & Community I would like to know if the Intel Arc Pro B60 cards will soon be available at digitec. What do you think? E.g. the "Asrock Intel Arc Pro B60 Creator 24GB" https://www.asrock.com/Graphics-C... or "MAXSUN Intel Arc Pro B60 Dual 48G Turbo" https://www.maxsun.com/products...

5

I wonder: why are the prices of used products still so high? They should reflect the current market value, not the inflated value from when they were purchased during periods of overpricing, such as during 'shorting' and other speculative phenomena. I understand that many paid more at the time of purchase, but if second-hand prices remain so high, it becomes difficult for those who want to buy to really save money. Wouldn't it be fairer to adapt to current market conditions?

Why is there no mention of the ASUS Doom: The Dark Ages promotion on the relevant product page? https://promotion.asus.com/fr...

Nvidia does not sell these itself. Is there any dealer who sells Founders Edition cards? Unfortunately, only the Founders Edition cards are really suitable for small ITX builds.

Can someone explain to me what the difference is between DVI-D, DVI-I and DVI-A?

Question: I'm planning to build my first PC myself in the next few weeks with the aim of finally using my HTC Vive Pro 2 VR set with as few problems as possible. I'm currently using a T7 Prebuilt from Lenovo with an RTX 3080 and I'm very happy with it, but the 10Gb VRAm is simply not enough to play a game like Assetto Corsa Competizione with the Vive VR at reasonably acceptable settings. With extremely throttled settings, you're left with regular crashes and more frustration than joy. My question now is: for VR gaming, is the amount of VRam the most important factor? Because that's where my 3080 fails miserably according to my hardware monitor programme. As I have a budget of plus minus 2400 for the new PC, a new 5090 or something like that is out of the question. I would have instinctively gone for a new RX 7900 XTX, or seen if I could find a second-hand 4090 somewhere at a similar price (which won't be the case anyway), as this is the only (potentially) affordable NVidia option with the same amount of VRam. The CPU of the new PC will come 100% from AMD as final information. Thanks for the help :)

The RTX 5000 series is still not available in the "Graphics card model" filter. An absurdity when you consider what sales are being made with it these days. Does anyone have any idea why the shop seems to be getting a bit stale in this respect? The technical data also seems to be of increasingly poor quality. (USB power supply with 49999999.9W or other illogical information)

Hello, I plan to sell the Nvidia RTX 3060Ti inside my ASUS NUC 12 Extreme (NUC12DCMi9) to a friend. Given the NUC's limitation (650W PSU, max 30cm long and 4,3cm width GPU), what would be considered a future proof upgrade from the RTX 3060Ti? After looking around for a while, it seems that the GPU market is in a really bad spot at the moment and the days of the power efficient GTX 10 series are long gone. Should I risk upgrading the PSU as well to remove the watts limitation, even though it might have proprietary ports somewhere (because it's a NUC) and will add up to the total cost? Thanks in advance! --- Hello, I'm planning to sell the Nvidia RTX 3060Ti in my ASUS NUC 12 Extreme (NUC12DCMi9) to a friend. Should I risk replacing the PSU with a more powerful one to remove the wattage constraint, even though there may be some proprietary ports on it (given that it's a NUC) and that may increase the overall cost? I've been looking for a card for a new PC for some time, I'm not a gamer, but I want a GPU with which I have no restrictions. After a long search, I finally found an RTX 3080 here today and bought it. At midnight a refund comes from Paypal and the order suddenly says cancelled!!! What is this crap? I'm pissed off!!!

There are no cards at msrp prices, we're 25 to 50% more expensive than market prices! I don't want to advertise, but a well-known French shop (which starts with LD... and which delivers to Switzerland with Swiss VAT) sells RTX 5070s and 5070 Tis at very attractive prices. They're regularly out of stock, but they're restocked regularly. For example, the 5070 is available right now for 547fr (asus prime model sold here for 874fr). The 5070 ti is not currently available, but will be available for 746fr when we next restock. There are also AMD cards in this French shop, but this time a little above msrp. Digitec could easily buy from this reseller, add 100fr and it would still be a nice price reduction.

So the Radeon keynote released the specs and pricing of the 9000 series, what do you think and how will Digitec price them in Switzerland?

Nice that digitec supports scalpers.... Example karl heinz with a rtx 4090 suprime liquid bought september 2024 for about 1600-1700 francs sold it now for 2750.- Can be really proud of you and what you have become...

I'm really starting to get on my nerves with this nonsense about the 50 series. you're constantly checking because you're supposed to have a new graphics card because it's the only one missing and then you can't buy it on the one hand and on the other hand the date is constantly being pushed back. first it was March then it was May and now it's June. what's in a week or two? august? then I'm really starting to doubt that it will ever come out. I've never really experienced anything like this in my life, that it's so difficult to deliver what you're promised but then the boss of Nvidia opens his mouth but then can't deliver, that's a real shame and leads to a massive bad reputation. i've always had an nvidia card but that's really the bottom drawer and then at such extremely inflated prices. in short, the value for money is not right at the back and front but that's just my opinion. at some point people will resort to an AMD card out of necessity and Nvidia will be left sitting on their new cards if they should ever come.

Does anyone have any info on the availability of rx 9070 xt cards? I've seen 2 gigabytes and nothing else... Instant sale out? Digitec error for the launch?

Post it here as it is unnecessarily easy to overlook: (the addendum at the end of the article) https://www.digitec.ch/de... Dear customers, We know that many of you are eagerly awaiting the launch of the latest Nvidia GeForce graphics cards. The anticipation for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 is huge. Unfortunately, we have to inform you today about some important details concerning the launch. We will only have a very limited number of units available for the launch of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080. This is due to supply problems that are currently plaguing manufacturers. Demand far exceeds supply, which means that we will only have a small quantity in stock. We therefore recommend that you visit our website regularly and check the availability of each card to have the best chance of getting hold of one. No Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 available at launch Even more regrettably, we are unable to offer any cards at all for the launch of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090. Here too, supply problems are the main reason. The availability of the new chips is currently extremely limited, which is affecting the entire supply chain. We are in close contact with our distributors and manufacturers to inform you about changes and new deliveries as soon as possible. We thank you for your understanding and patience. Your trust and support mean a lot to us and we look forward to bringing you the latest and greatest products soon. What a launch from Nvidia - a few hundred cards for the whole USA.....
