S/FTP LSZH patch cable, Cat.7 (connector: Cat.6A) (600MHz) in snagless design with gold-plated contacts. Suitable for Ethernet up to 10GBase-T.
The Cat. 7 cable material for operating frequencies up to 600MHz with overall braided shielding and foil individual shielding (S/FTP) is designed for use in data centers, server rooms, rack-mounted network and switch cabinets, etc., for networks up to 10GBase-T. It has been manufactured and tested according to the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag.
The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over very long periods. The snagless clip protection prevents the breaking or tearing of the latch clip on the connector. This allows for the storage and handling of the cables without getting the clips tangled.
Due to the halogen-free jacket material of the LSZH-designed cable, this product is suitable for use in public spaces with its low smoke emission and the complete elimination of toxic halogen emissions.
This product uses Cat.7 cable material. The Cat.7 standard originally defined the GG45 connectors, which were developed as an evolution of RJ45 but did not gain market acceptance. Meanwhile, the RJ45 connector has also been further developed to meet the requirements of Cat.7 without issue. However, it was never officially defined for Cat. 7. Therefore, the printing on the cable reads:
"Cat.6A S/FTP patch cords with 600MHz raw cable".
