Canon EF/EF-S to EF-M
Questions about EF/EF-S to EF-M
What's your question to the Community?
Yes, they should fit. Just bear in mind that the focal length changes relatively significantly compared to a full-frame camera.
However, if the lenses have already been used with an APS-C sensor, everything will remain the same with the adapter.
Yes and no. The adapter has nothing to do with the crop factor / multiplier. This is simply due to the smaller APS-C sensor in the EOS-M cameras. But yes, you can multiply the focal length with Canon APS-C by 1.6, to put it simply.
This is the only adapter Canon offers. It doesn't do more than adapt Canon EF and EF-S lenses to EF-M, and it doesn't have to. There are probably some cheap replicas but they are certainly not better but at best cheaper.
No. The adapter allows regular EF lenses (or EF-S) to be used on the M bayonet. All EF lenses designed for full-frame simply fit on the 650.... Canon calls them EF, Sigma DG and Tamron Di.
