The RAM with the lower CL are somewhat more responsive in practical use.

CL means cas latency. It indicates how many clock cycles are required until a certain data element is available after the memory controller has requested it from the RAM.

However, I cannot say how noticeable this difference is.

Im working alot with computers and never had any problems with that. Sometimes sticks from different brands wont work together. But sticks of the same brand with same specifications should definitely work.
