The CPU is not officially supported by Microsoft https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors Microsoft has drawn a hard line there. You just have to stick with Windows 10, which is still supported until at least the end of 2025.
Hi Gaming, buy an i5... Enough. i7 you only need if you: Use programs that support more than 4 cores, e.g. in virtualisation, video editing, image editing etc.: Virtualisation, Video Editing, Image Editing etc. Most games support between 1-2 or sometimes even 4 cores. That's why it's better to get an i5 (my recommendation).
Hello RomanL1, thank you for the enquiry. We have added the Strix motherboard to our range, here is the link: ASUS STRIX X99 GAMING (LGA 2011-v3, Intel X99, ATX)
The whole thing is compatible so far.
No, unfortunately that does not work! You need a x99 board with 2011-v3 socket and ddr4 slots.
Definitely! ;-D Have it together with a GTX 970, Fantastic!
