Well, neither the notebook nor the dock seem to have a USB Type C plug? But it should work via USB 3.0 Type A. But a USB dock is still not a Thunderbolt dock and I have had bad experiences with USB docks and monitors. In contrast to Thunderbolt, the "intelligence" of USB, e.g. the network adapter, the graphics card, etc., is outsourced to the dock, as USB does not transmit video or audio signals. Theoretically, a USB dock works on all Windows devices with the corresponding connection. The best way to find out whether a dock you have chosen has been tested with the specific notebook is to visit the website of the manufacturer of the docking station.
Unfortunately not.
No, I haven't noticed that yet. It's not a pixel error, the spots are bigger? I think there's a tolerance for pixel errors: if there aren't enough, there's no guarantee, that's what I have with my desktop screen... I can live with that. Or is it dirt? then clean the screen ;-)
I think this product here has the best processor compared to the other ThinkPad 13s on offer. However, the ThinkPads have more ports, some have larger SSDs and also longer battery life. Finally, I recommend you compare the offers (comparison button on the left of "watch list" and "add to cart") and consider all the criteria. You may find that you like the design or colour of another model better. Ultimately, all products can be considered PC replacements, depending on what applications you use (there are also laptops with much better specifications, not necessarily Thinkpad or IdeaPad now). You just have to decide what you need and what you don't.
Yes, it's really dull. Video (in Vietnamese): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jLT0mTfosc
The Ideapad 710s Plus will also be available in Switzerland. Unfortunately, we do not have more precise information about the release date.
I have not yet tried to open the unit myself. It has 9 small cross screws on the underside, so it looks to me as if it can be opened to some extent. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the warranty. I hope this gives you a clue...
No. It has a micro HDMI port.
Check which ram and plug it in yourself... -> Voila! RAM expansion. Cheers!
Unfortunately not. Just Swiss-Keyboard.
