Hello, I have several Seagate Expansion Desktops, and they are all equipped with an external charger. Suggestion, there are several offers at Digitec, e.g. XCell mains adapter 12 Volt LogiLink PA0198 Hopefully the connection is correct, that's why I would order the LogiLink

Depending on the format, information of the image files can vary, so you have information from the creation of the "file" itself (always) or you have in the ->right click on icon ->properties -> the creation date of the photo, with certain formats you can even find information of the photo like GPS data.

Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge. Is SMR. You can find it on the net: https://www.computerbase.de/2020-04/festplatten-seagate-smr-ohne-kennzeichnung/ If the hard disks were CMR, it would also be advertised as such with a guarantee...

As far as I know, the following applies to the Xbox One X: - The external hard drive must support at least USB 3.0. - It must be at least 256 gigabytes in size so that you can store games and apps on it. Otherwise, the Xbox will only use the space for pictures, music and videos. - The drive must be a maximum of 16 terabytes. - The drive must be connected directly to the console, i.e. not via USB hub. - Up to three drives can be used simultaneously as external storage. (see e.g. here: https://www.pc-magazin.de/ratgeber/xbox-one-s-xbox-one-x-externe-festplatte-anschliessen-einrichten-kaufen-3200124-17426.html) This would mean in relation to your disc -> works probably just needs the power supply of the disk, otherwise the power supply is not guaranteed.

You can't say that in general. The size of the files has a big influence on the throughput. Here are a few comments on tests I recently did: Hardware: HP-PC 750-430nz, copying from the old external Seagate hard drive (2TB) to the Seagate Expansion Desktop (6TB). 1. test copying Photoshop Elements backup files A PSE backup consists of many files: one file per photo (JPG, RAW) and other files like XMP and JSON. Some of the files are very small. JSON files are typically 1KB for me. The observed throughput (task manager) was between 45 MB/s and 100 MB/s. 2. test copying of a large file (approx. 50 GB) Here, a throughput of 150 - 165 MB/s could be observed. In the first test, the large disk (6TB) was the bottleneck with an active time >80%. The creation of many small files on the 6TB disk leads to a large load on the file system (NTFS). In the second test, the small disk (2TB) was fully utilised, 100% for a long time. I.e. the small disk was able to deliver less data than the large disk could have swallowed. Conclusion: Assuming a throughput of 150MB/s, it takes approx. 4 hours for 2 TB.
