According to the news article www.anandtech.com/show/16587/kingston-introduces-nv1-entryle..., it is really a ridiculous 480TB. And Kingston probably doesn't specify whether the cheap crap QLC is on it or not. I wouldn't buy them.
I wouldn't buy it as a system partition either. But I will use it as a Steam drive in my second M.2 slot. Not much is written there. And it's certainly faster than my "old" sata ssd, even if it's not particularly fast for an M.2. Plus I now have twice as much memory and two cables less in the housing. Just because it doesn't fit your application doesn't necessarily mean it's cheap shit 😉
