Can anyone help me ? I have received the Oneplus 8 Pro and am a bit puzzled. In the network settings, no 5G is listed under mobile network. Not in the automatic network selection and not in the network display either. However, I have a 5G-capable Swisscom subscription and live within range of a Swisscom 5G antenna. Somehow 5G does not appear anywhere on my Oneplus 8 Pro. But it does on a colleague's MI 10 Pro. I tried it with my sim card on the MI 10 and it worked ?

Hier noch der Auszug von der offiz. OnePlus Seite: Currently supports dual 4G SIM and single 5G SIM operations. Upgrade for 5G/4G or 5G/5G dual SIM support will be implemented via OTA update.

OnePlus is not officially represented in Switzerland and therefore access to functions such as 5G and Wi-Fi Calling, which unfortunately both require country-specific unlocks in the software, will probably continue to be blocked. However, there are instructions on forums.oneplus.com to unlock the functions until the next update. This works, but must be repeated with each update.

I have the same problem with the 5G. I asked Swisscom the question. Since 5G, every device must be certified by the manufacturer and the network (Swisscom). According to support, Swisscom has contacted OnePlus to certify the 8 Pro.

Congratulations, mine got stuck in the post :(

I read that 5G is not possible in dual sim mode. Could this be the problem?
