As it looks, unfortunately not. :-( But you could contact customer support and ask if the product can be added to the range. They will be happy to check.
When the screen of my Oneplus 3 broke, I took the phone to Digitec and they took care of the rest. In the end, I was even lucky and Oneplus covered the repair costs, as it was only 3 weeks old.
Hier noch der Auszug von der offiz. OnePlus Seite: Currently supports dual 4G SIM and single 5G SIM operations. Upgrade for 5G/4G or 5G/5G dual SIM support will be implemented via OTA update.
Also, I heard that any pre-order between the 14th and 21st of April will get the wireless charger free. Is this the case?
Try clearing the cache. In the settings under apps - > Gallery -> Data or something (mine is English), clear the cache.
@M.vogelsang: click on "Price development" further down on the product page. Everything is there ;-)
We are sorry about this, maybe try in a shop specialized in mobile ? Maybe they would have the tools for this ? Or in one of our shop (without any warranty). If it's still stuck, it would be better to send it on reparation. I recommend you to contact us by email for this case. https://helpcenter.galaxus.ch/hc/fr/requests/new
HI 5011101013
All promises regarding updates are valid from the date the device was introduced to the market. The date of purchase has no influence at all. The OnePlus 8 Pro was launched in April 2020 and has an ancient SnapDragon 865 processor compared to new devices. But why spend so much money when you can get almost the same thing for less? The Xiaomi 11T is guaranteed 4 years of updates. That's better than 3 and it costs less than 600 francs with better technology. Xiaomi 11T (256 GB, Meteorite Gray, 6.67 ", Dual SIM, 108 Mpx, 5G) And even the best smartphone from Xiaomi, the 11T Pro, costs just 700 francs and that also has 4 years of guaranteed updates and the fastest SnapDragon 888 processor. Hoi Joosh_03 The easiest way is via computer :) Insert SD card with adapter and the OnePlus 8 via USB :) But yes, you can connect it with a USB OTG cable: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oneplus-8-otg-support.1443675/
...I don't know, everything works fine for me...
No
as far as I know: "yes" / or will still be updated accordingly (automatically). -> Swisscom works together with BBK Electronics
I think the right addressee for this question is the manufacturers directly (OnePlus, Google). If they were to sell the phones directly in Switzerland, the price would also go down. Oneplus devices are available from time to time at good prices at digitec as well as at the competition, but usually as a special offer and not permanently.
Hello Desmond There is effectively a relatively simple solution to the problem with Google Chrome. You have to deactivate "dynamic-color-gamut" in Chrome. How to do this is described here: https://www.androidblog.ch/2020/12/oneplus-8-pro-und-oppo-find-x2-pro-display-verfaerbt-sich-in-google-chrome-gelblich/ Hope it works for you. Greetings
Good question. I just haven't registered and haven't missed any of the OnePlus "exclusive" services yet. Most of my information is on Google and the registration there worked without any problems.
VOLTE could already be activated with Android 9 and 10 on older models. The issue is simply that it also needs some help with Android 11. You have to download an APK and then you get the option to activate VOLTE and WIFI Calling via a code on the phone. Runs flawlessly on Swisscom and Wingo if you do it that way, even with Android 11. The process is documented in the forums, otherwise I can also help. Greetings
I have activated FHD, but it should still last much longer for you. I currently have 55% and it still shows me 1 day of runtime.
Not active by default on the device, but I was able to activate it later and it works great with swisscom https://nerdschalk.com/how-to-enable-volte-and-vowifi-on-oneplus-7-pro/ Simply follow the instructions
That is indeed the case. Android does not have this by default. The reason for this is apparently that the notification badge is protected by Apple's number. The other manufacturers are probably just getting involved in the power struggle with Apple.
Hi. I couldn't get it to work with Sunrise, despite many calls to Sunrise.... Is Single 5G
Not at the moment, unfortunately.
So - I bit the bullet and did a factory reset on the OnePlus 8 Pro. Then I _did not_ start the migration wizard. Then installed Postfinance on the "empty" phone, and lo and behold: no crashes. So: if you want to use the Postfinance app, you'd better not use the OnePlus migration service :-( (or as Mazur_ch writes, the Samsung "Smart Switch" service)....
Because it's a software issue and the phone is, as you name it, technically compatible with Swiss networks. Don't expect 5G in the near future though unless you adapt the files. Because for OnePlus Switzerland is not an officially supported region and they'll most likely not add the config entries anytime soon.
Try pressing the off button + both volume controls at the same time until the unit shuts down. Then press the power button again. To reboot the phone
