Hello together Sorry, maybe a bit of a stupid question but can I get this processor to run on my ASUS Prime B450-Plus board? Currently a Ryzen 5 3600 is installed, can I use the 5600x without any problem? thanks for your support

If you have an AM4 socket on your mainboard, it should run without problems. Both CPUs run on AM4 sockets. A BIOS update may still be necessary. I often check the chipset, but that is something for advanced users and would go too far here. It should also work like this.

You must first update the BIOS of the motherboard. Then it works without problems. I installed a 5800x on a b450 board on Saturday. Should work with a 5600x without any problems.
