You state that the Mavic 3 has C1 certification. However, this is not the case and a subsequent certification is necessary, which is currently not possible in Switzerland. Or am I not correctly informed?

The Mavic 3 Classic is the first drone with C1. The Mavic 3 Pro must be post-certified, which DJI says will not be possible until Q1 2023.

The Mavic 3 IS C1 certifiable in France. It seems impossible to do this from Switzerland (the tab is not present in the DJI Fly profile menu). The same goes for the mandatory electronic reporting to fly in France.

I took a waterproof pen and wrote C1 on my drone. That is enough, as long as I handle my drone as sensibly as before. In the event of an accident (and before that, no one from any authority is interested in my drone), insurance, registration, proof of competence and reason for the accident are important. The C1 will be as unimportant tomorrow (how many drones are flown in Switzerland??) as it was until

today.
