Product details

In the cinema from October!
It is already being read in schools: Dirk Kurbjuweits great story about friendship, first love and growing up. Now it is coming to the cinema, filmed by Jobst Christian Oetzmann
(The Loneliness of Crocodiles).
Over seven years the friendship between Johann and Ludwig grows. Ludwig has a plan, a dream: Both of them should become like twins, live, think and feel in complete harmony, because only then will they have a chance in the rowing competition in pairs without having to compete against the real twins from Potsdam. When Johann sleeps with Ludwig's sister Vera, he tries to keep it a secret. Ludwig doesn't seem to notice anything, but he is getting stranger and stranger. Instead of fasting to keep the necessary 62.5 kilos for the competition, he begins to eat excessively. More and more often he climbs up to the bridge, from which sometimes at night the suicides who end up in his parents' garden jump off. Finally, Johann realizes that Ludwig wants to test her twin vows beyond all boundaries.
