It seems to be a rock-solid letter scanner. Brother = old school, but heavy duty.

My question:
Can the scanner read a double-sided letter in one go?
scans the front and back at the same time?

Or does it read the front side first, as most scanners do, then painstakingly push the sheet backwards to turn it over and then pull it past the scanner again to get the back side. (This not only takes more than twice as long, but also causes paper jams x times).

Unfortunately, I could not find any information about this in the Digitec specifications or the Tech Sheet.

Accepted Answer

The scanner scans front and back in one go and does so very quickly and in good quality. I am very satisfied. Much better than the usual multifunction printers. Only with documents of different thicknesses (e.g. stapled receipts) does it have problems with the feed. It is very well suited for documents with many pages (front and/or back printed).
