Pind, the Danish word for wooden stick, is named after the characteristic wooden dowels in its design and embodies the spirit of the legendary Shaker chairs from 19th-century America. This furniture style exudes timeless elegance and is known for its slender and refined dowels that adorn the chair's backrest. With its clear and contemporary expression, Pind pays homage to the timeless craftsmanship of traditional woodworking and brings the classic wooden chair into the present. Designer Simon Legald explains: "The Pind chair collection is a study in the seamless fusion of a classic chair with a contemporary design that meets the demands of the modern consumer." The design of Pind consists solely of solid wooden dowels, except for the seat. The collection includes dining chairs with and without armrests, as well as bar stools in two heights. The backrest of Pind features a carefully crafted elliptical curve that ensures optimal comfort and better back support. The armrests are supported by three subtly angled wooden dowels, harmonizing with the backrest and enhancing the aesthetic of the chairs.
