You can let air in and out to vary the hardness. I have not tested whether the pump switches off on its own. The bed fills up quickly, so I'll stick with that
Hello, I would go for something warm and padded.
The mattress is cold in winter because it doesn't retain heat. I also have a warm blanket as a base.

It probably depends somewhat on your use case. For single guests, you have to run the pump for 30 seconds after every second night. For two people after every night.
So for long-term use certainly a bit tedious... but if you only expect relatively rare guests who don't stay very long, then I would recommend the thing - especially with the current promotion (54.-).
I'm only 60+, but I sleep very well on it. The ultimate is a topper on top, then you sleep like a god...
