Hoka

The HOKA Challenger 8 GTX is a waterproof trail running shoe for male runners in black color and European size 44 2/3. This successor model of the Challenger series combines Gore-Tex membrane technology with the signature HOKA cushioning for reliable performance in changing trail conditions. The Vibram Megagrip outsole with 5 mm lugs provides enhanced grip on both wet and dry surfaces, as well as stability on varied terrain. A dual-density foam midsole offers balanced cushioning and responsiveness, while the extended heel geometry contributes to smooth transitions while running. The engineered mesh upper features strategic reinforcements for durability and breathability, complemented by an integrated tongue for dirt protection. The Gore-Tex membrane provides waterproof protection while maintaining breathability, making the shoe suitable for trail running in wet conditions. The weight is approximately 310 g per shoe in size 44, with dimensions of about 30 cm in length, 10 cm in width, and 12 cm in height. The Challenger 8 GTX retains the characteristic HOKA Meta-Rocker geometry for efficient stride, supported by an internal heel cap and molded collar for a secure fit. The construction focuses on durability with abrasion-resistant materials in high-wear areas, and the lacing system allows for individual adjustment. This model represents an advancement in the trail running sector, combining waterproof protection with the lightweight performance of technical running shoes.
