For solo trekkers MSR brings with the Elixir 1 tent now also a 1-person version of its popular series. The tent scores especially with a successful balance of enough space at low weight and with a very good price-performance ratio. The freestanding design is easy to set up thanks to the laser-cut pole ends and color-coded anchoring loops. There's plenty of storage space for gear in the large entry area, while the pole geometry inside creates comfortable headroom. Built-in storage for smaller gear and intelligently placed mesh inserts in the inner tent for better ventilation round out the 3-season tent.
