We have the carrier on a Skoda Octavia estate. It works, the carrier & the wheels hold perfectly. Unfortunately, when the wheels are on, the lights, indicators, brake lights and number plate are partially covered. I doubt whether you can get through an inspection like that. That's why I wouldn't buy the carrier again, it's too tricky for me. But otherwise the product is great. Inexpensive, everything holds, there is room for many bikes (including a child's bike) and it can be mounted and removed very quickly.

Technically, this will probably fit, but the lights and licence plate are probably no longer visible (buses!). It is not for nothing that the vehicle in the product image has low-slung rear lights and the KS in the bumper. I solved both problems by mounting the carrier higher (not on the bumper) and attaching the upper straps to a roof rack.

The carrier is very solid and can certainly withstand this. Whether the same applies to your plastic spoiler is a completely different question... This is the main problem with this carrier and the fact that the lights and licence plate are no longer legible (buses!). It's not for nothing that the vehicle in the product picture has low-lying rear lights and the KS in the bumper. I solved both problems by mounting the carrier higher (not on the bumper) and attaching the upper straps to a roof rack.

Hello I think that should work yes👍 You can adapt the carriers to the car individually and shorten them. I have a Volvo V50 and it fits beautifully. Had to cut the carriers down a bit too. Kind regards Katharina

Basically, yes, the carrier is very stable and the bars are long enough. But it depends on the car or the design of the tailgate: The straps must not be attached to glass or a plastic spoiler. In addition, the licence plate and lights will no longer be sufficiently visible on most cars (in contrast to the product picture where everything is installed at the very bottom of the bumper...). We therefore sold ours again and bought a Thule Backpac. Even better would be an AHK carrier...

I have the item on the VW T5 California Beach and it fits. However, the number plate is covered depending on the load of the bikes. The item is ok, attached to the vehicle with straps.... 80s style. I can even open the tailgate with bike stand. The original accessory stands from VW are certainly the more robust choice.

If the boot lid has a gap at the top to hang the bracket, then yes, should not be a problem. This is a prerequisite for every carrier. It also worked perfectly for me. I can highly recommend this carrier.

Does it fit on a Volvo V90? :)

Since the rear window of the V90 is quite inclined, I wouldn't say yes per se, try it out...or maybe look at another model from Hollywood Racks....

According to the manufacturer's website, which has software to check compatibility (https://hollywoodracks.com/pages...). Unfortunately, this product is not compatible with your vehicle.
