To achieve extreme durability, the materials used have been carefully selected: the tarpaulin fabric employed here is also used for oil booms at sea and must be able to withstand the stormiest waves of the salty oceans. A tougher stress test is hardly possible. The cotton areas have been coated to be waterproof and water-repellent, allowing rain and splashes to run off. The components are joined together through meticulous and precise hand welding in Germany. Additionally, all components come from Europe (cotton from Italy and tarpaulin fabric from Finland). As is customary for trunk bags from racktime, YVES 2.0 is equipped with a Snapit 2.0 adapter, allowing for secure and easy mounting on all 2.0 system carriers from racktime. Furthermore, the angled design is optimally aligned with rider ergonomics.
