Shimano sets global benchmarks with the Deore XT group when it comes to mountain bike shifting systems. The new shifters are equipped with numerous innovations and optimizations. This includes the Instant Release technology, which allows for quicker shifting. The cable is released directly when the lever is activated. Another highlight is the Multi-Release technology, which allows for two gear shifts at once. Now you can shift across multiple gears in both directions using either the main lever or the secondary lever. The 2-Way Release feature lets you release the cable by pushing with your thumb or pulling with your index finger. The derailleur adapts to your riding style individually. The advanced Vivid Index mechanism ensures clear tactile feedback and precision. Additionally, the levers are available for classic clamp mounting and in two I-Spec versions. I-Spec II is an integrated mounting system for brake and shift levers. It uses only one clamp, resulting in a weight saving of about ten grams. The fine adjustment options in the horizontal direction also allow for a customized and optimally adjusted setup.
