E-biking is booming: More and more cyclists are opting for the support of a small electric motor. In particular, commuters are switching from cars and public transport to this alternative. However, the higher speeds of e-bikes and S-pedelecs also impose different requirements on protective gear. Specifically designed for this purpose and to safely navigate all e-bike riders through the urban jungle, Uvex has developed the Uvex City 9. Six large ventilation openings on the top can be opened and closed as needed - even with one hand while riding. Two additional vents at the back provide extra ventilation. An integrated plug-in LED with three different modes ensures visibility and is USB rechargeable. To ensure a secure fit, the helmet can be adjusted to the individual head size using a dial at the back. The Uvex IAS system allows for width adjustments of the helmets. After all, everyone has their own unique head shape. Heads, however, differ not only in circumference but also in height. The Uvex IAS-3D system therefore offers the additional option for precise adjustment to individual head height. The fast-adapting system strap can be easily and continuously adjusted to fit one's head shape. This ensures that the helmet stays securely in place in all situations and that the strap remains in the optimal position. The comfort closure Uvex Monomatic can be adjusted in multiple stages and with just one hand. The closure is twist-resistant and features an opening protection in case of a fall. For pressure-free fit, the Uvex Monomatic is equipped with a comfort padding.
