The Dormer S717 end mill is a highly advanced tool designed for precise milling operations in various materials. With a nominal diameter of 20 mm and an overall length of 125 mm, this mill offers an effective cutting length of 57 mm. The four cutting edges are coated with a high-quality AlCrN coating, which enhances the tool's lifespan and increases machining efficiency. The mill is ideal for shoulder milling in steel, cast steel, as well as in ferritic, martensitic, and austenitic stainless steels. The special geometry with a helix angle of 40° and a rake angle of 10° ensures optimal chip removal and reduces heat generation during milling.
