Both tools use the battery capacity even more efficiently than with conventional electric motors by using a BL (brushless) motor. The 2-speed full metal planetary gearbox of the DHP484Z cordless impact drill switches between 500 rpm or 2,000 rpm and 7,500 impacts/min or 30,000 impacts/min. The quick-action drill chuck for one-hand operation and spindle lock enables fast tool changes. In terms of safety, the DHP484Z cordless impact drill convinces with a motor brake and XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology), which protects it from dust and splash water. The DHR171Z cordless hammer drill for SDS-PLUS is suitable for drilling and hammer drilling. The SDS-Plus tool holder enables a very quick change of the tool insert.
