Hello, unfortunately this is not possible. Gardena uses its own transmission method between the gateway and the components such as the Smart Water Control.

Yes, you can control the irrigation via the app, but you need a GARDENA Smart Gateway for this. Without this, you cannot use the functions as it is required to connect to the app. 4G or Wi-Fi access is indirectly required as the gateway needs an internet connection to communicate with the app. The batteries power the device itself, but the gateway is crucial for remote control.

Only use alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries have too high a self-discharge rate and too low a cell voltage. The device will therefore provide an incorrect battery status display when using rechargeable batteries.

The water flow is regulated via the end devices/consumers (e.g. square sprinklers) - the main tap may have a larger dimension, e.g. larger dimension e.g. 1/1 inch and the irrigation computer delivers max. 3/4" - but this is not a problem in daily use Extract from the operating instructions: The Water Control is equipped with a union nut (9) for taps with a 33.3 mm (G 1") thread. The enclosed adapter (8) is used to connect the Water Control to taps with a 26.5 mm (G 3/4") thread.

i use it together like this: Smart Water Control with GARDENA Aqua ZOOM (not bloom) - but a Smart Sensor is a useful addition for worry-free management.

According to the supplier, all Gardena smart devices can be integrated into the Gardena smart app. So you can also control multiple areas with the original products and operate them in one app.

Hi, it uses the bigger one. I think an adapter was even available in the set, but you need a wider pipe which I had to buy for 12chf). It may be a problem if you want to unplug it and connect your old pipe as you always need adapters). But apart of this the set works great (have been using it since 3 months now)

I have exactly what you have in mind in my garden. 3 Smart Water Control plus 3 water sensors. As far as the maximum number of devices to be integrated is concerned, I can't help you either.
