Model builders no longer need to make compromises and can rely on this acrylic paint system for all their color needs.

The advantages of this paint system: Revell Aqua Color paints come in completely new 18-ml containers that are ideal for use. The paints can be thinned with water, are low-odor, non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed together. The paint dries completely in 2 to 3 hours, and re-coating is possible after just one hour, which means it is 6 times faster than with enamel paints. The new colors can be easily layered over the existing enamel colors (14 ml) after the drying time, but they cannot be mixed together.

The paint is also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to note that the paint should not be overly thinned, with a maximum dilution of 20 to 25% with water. It is optimal to thin the paint with Aqua Color Mix, which also acts as a drying retarder and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. Clean the spray gun immediately after use with water. If the paint has already dried, the spray gun can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean.

For brush application: The paints are brushable and feature high opacity. Smooth surfaces after brushing—almost as good as airbrushing. The final result is absolutely comparable to enamel paints and offers exceptional results when brushed.
