The popular Aqua Color paints are now available in all 88 shades. Model builders no longer have to make compromises and can rely on this acrylic paint system for all their color needs.

The advantages of this paint system include: Revell Aqua Color paints come in innovative 18 ml containers that are easy to work with. The paints can be thinned with water, are low-odor, non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed together. After 2 to 3 hours, the paint is fully dry, and it is possible to apply another coat after just one hour, making it six times faster than enamel paints.

The new colors and the existing enamel colors (14 ml) can be easily layered after the drying time, but they cannot be mixed with each other. The paint is also suitable for airbrushing, with the following considerations: the paint should not be thinned too much, a maximum of 20 to 25% with water. It is optimal to thin the paint with Aqua Color Mix, which also serves as a drying retarder and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. The spray gun should be cleaned immediately with water after use. If the paint has already started to dry, the spray gun can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean.

For brush application: The paints are brushable and feature high opacity. They leave smooth surfaces after brushing, almost as good as when airbrushed. The end result is absolutely comparable to enamel paints and offers exceptional results when brushed.
