I can't say whether it works. It didn't work on a Blackberry with Android. You would have had to root the device according to instructions on the internet. We did not dare to do this (security, warranty, etc.).

Is the adapter PoE (Power over Ethernet) capable? Respectively, can the connected device (e.g. tablet) also be charged immediately if the network cable already carries PoE?

Looking for an adapter to connect my smartphone (Samsung A5 2016, SM-A510F) with Android 7.0 TO THE ROUTER WITH AN ETHERNET CABLE so I can turn off the wifi (less radiation exposure; I have a slight sensitivity to radiation) I found this Belkin USB C to Ethernet adapter. But will it fit my smartphone? or is one of the following adapters more suitable? : > LINK2GO USB-C / Gigabit Ethernet adapter. > Verbatim USB-C GIGABIT Adapter Ethernet 10 cm cable > i-tec USB-C to (Ethernet / Lan, 6.10cm) or is there a better one? Yes, it is compatible with newer Macs that are only USB-C equipped.
I personally use it on a 2018 MacBook Pro Touch Bar and I am very happy with it
