I've had the 11pro with 512gb since mid-December, and my maximum battery capacity now shows "only" 98% (at the beginning it was 100%). If this continues, the battery will run out far too quickly for such an expensive device. Is there anything known?

It is about the maximum battery capacity, which can be seen in the settings under the item Battery, not about the charged battery.

Hello all,
I have been using an xs256GB for 1.5 years. The battery level is currently at 85% and I also have to charge it more often. Mostly daily. Now you could grumble, of course, but there is always a way to charge somewhere, whether in the car or at home or with a mobile battery pack. The good news is that Apple offers a free replacement: But beware, the condition is: the capacity of the battery

must be at 80% within two years (warranty). (Apple's reasoning is: from 80% battery capacity, the range of functions is no longer fully guaranteed). And if you want to replace the battery: A battery replacement costs CHF69, i.e. just under 10 centimes per day for a useful life of 2 years.

If you want to save money, you can switch off the background activities of the apps, switch off Bluetooth, switch on WLAN only when you need it, switch on energy-saving mode, etc.
However, if you use a device as it is "intended", you have to expect that there will be wear and tear.

Greetings and stay healthy!

Depending on use, my battery is already at 0% in the evening and I have to recharge the device.

I have had an iPhone 11 pro Max for 1.5 years and still have 90% battery. However, I still have over 50% battery in the evening. I have switched off all unnecessary background updates.

I have already had a few iphones. The 98% are not a problem. At the beginning, they quickly lose one or two percent. But then it doesn't go on like that. It was the same with my XS. After a short time it was no longer 100%, now after 1.5 years of continuous use it's still 90%.
