The MET Codatronca is an aerodynamic time trial helmet with a short tail design, engineered for optimal aerodynamics while allowing natural head movement in various riding positions. Developed and tested in the wind tunnels of the Politecnico di Milano and Milano Newton Lab, this helmet combines performance with comfort through its 360-degree adjustable headband system, which can be individually tailored both vertically and at the back of the head. Made from an injection-molded polycarbonate shell with an EPS inner lining, it weighs 395 grams and features four low-resistance ventilation openings along with internal ventilation channels to maintain airflow during intense cycling. The helmet includes Air Lite straps for reduced weight and minimal interference, a Fidlock magnetic buckle for secure and easy fastening, and hand-washable padding for hygiene. Available in a matte black and silver finish, this model in size L fits head circumferences of 58-61 cm and integrates the MET Dual Shield System for enhanced protection. Suitable for year-round riding conditions, the unisex design prioritizes safety without compromising ventilation efficiency or comfort during longer time trial sessions.
