Slow mobility is an essential component of urban transport development, primarily to protect the environment and improve our visibility in urban areas. We have designed the new MET E-Mob Mips® with the needs of city cyclists in mind, who require enhanced safety and visibility.
The MET E-Mob Mips® is ideal for anyone riding with or without electric assistance, and we have utilized the best safety technologies and the highest testing standards to ensure that the E-Mob is the lightest certified e-bike helmet on the market.
It is well-known that cycling in the city can make one feel vulnerable. We are working to enhance the safety of your daily rides. We have integrated a USB-rechargeable LED rear light, along with reflective adhesives, to increase your visibility in traffic. There are three modes: steady light, pulsing light, and flashing light, allowing you to choose based on weather, time of day, and traffic conditions.
The NTA 8776 certification arose from the increasing use of e-bikes as urban transport. This standard takes into account the higher average speeds and the resulting greater impact energies in accidents. To meet these requirements, the helmet must be able to dissipate more energy compared to standard helmets and must also cover the most vulnerable areas – the temples and neck – additionally. Simply put, the E-Mob is one of the safest and lightest city helmets in its class.
