The newly revised Road Cruiser impresses with its appealing profile design and the numerous color variations for wheels ranging from 12 to 28 inches. However, the standout feature of the new Road Cruiser lies in the tread and is called Green Compound. This rubber, made from renewable and recycled raw materials, is so good that we can use it for the first time in a conventional bicycle tire. The framework of all Active Line tires is the high-quality 50 EPI carcass. Coarse 20 or 24 EPI carcasses are no longer available from Schwalbe. Additionally, the K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for all Active Line tires. Puncture protection level: 3. K-Guard. Schwalbe's minimum standard for protective belts, proven for many years. The belt is made from natural rubber and reinforced with Kevlar fibers. Together with the 50 EPI carcass, all Active tires offer excellent protection.
