It features a four-cutter drill head made of solid carbide, providing a longer lifespan than comparable competitor models. The basis for this is the unique Bosch Induction Diffusion Welding Technology (IDS). It ensures a homogeneous, very strong, and durable connection between the drill head and the spiral, which is also particularly temperature-resistant: The high temperatures of over 400 degrees that can occur when drilling in reinforced concrete have no effect on the SDS plus-7X drill compared to conventional drills.
