Then slide the hole adapter back forward until it locks in place. 4. The hole can now be drilled in the desired shrink position. Enlarging existing hole diameters: Using the Drill & Drop holder, enlarging a hole by adding another hole adapter is very simple. The small hole adapter, which is pushed onto the hexagonal shank from the back, serves to center it. The enlargement is then done with the larger hole adapter pushed over it.
